Stani Memorial P.G. College, Jaipur, in collaboration with Sanskar Bharti, Jaipur Prant, organized a special lecture on “The Artistic Dimension of the Indian Constitution.” The keynote address was delivered by Shri Arun Kumar Sharma, Regional Head, Sanskar Bharti Rajasthan, who highlighted that the Indian Constitution is not only the world’s longest written document but also a remarkable artistic masterpiece reflecting India’s rich culture, civilization, and values.

He explained that the original handwritten Constitution, implemented on 26 January 1950, is beautifully adorned with artistic borders, refined calligraphy, and meaningful illustrations. The session also highlighted the remarkable contributions of Prem Behari Narain Raizada and Vasant Krishan Vaidya in English and Hindi calligraphy, along with the artistic leadership of Nandalal Bose and Ram Manohar Sinha, including the contribution of Padma Shri Kripal Singh Shekhawat.

Principal Dr. Radha Sharma emphasized that the artistic illustrations of the Constitution provide valuable lessons in leadership, management, and ethical values for today’s youth. On the occasion of 75 years of the Indian Constitution, Programme In-charge and Visual Arts Department Coordinator Dr. Rajendra Prasad shared that similar awareness lectures will continue to be organized across the state.
